The Quik.Meme Chrome Extension (formerly Quik.Meme Wallet) brings the power of memecoin trading directly to your browser. Trade tokens from anywhere, deploy from Twitter, and never miss an opportunity.

What Can It Do?​

  • Quick Swap from DexScreener: See a token you like? Swap it instantly without leaving the page
  • Deploy from Twitter: Turn any tweet into a memecoin with one click
  • Badge Notifications: Get notified when you're on a supported page
  • Wallet Integration: Connect your MetaMask directly from the extension
  • My Tokens Dashboard: Track all your created and held tokens

Installation​

1. Download the Extension​

Since we're not on Chrome Web Store yet, you'll install it manually:

  1. Download the extension files from our GitHub
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder on your computer

2. Load in Chrome​

  1. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
  2. Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top right)
  3. Click "Load unpacked"
  4. Select the folder where you extracted the extension
  5. The Quik.Meme extension should now appear in your extensions list

3. Pin the Extension​

For easy access:

  1. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome toolbar
  2. Find "Quik.Meme Wallet"
  3. Click the pin icon to keep it visible

Features​

Quick Swap from DexScreener​

When you visit a token on DexScreener:

  1. The extension automatically detects the token
  2. A badge with "1" appears on the extension icon
  3. Click the extension icon
  4. QuickSwap opens automatically with the token pre-selected
  5. Enter amount and swap instantly

Deploy from Twitter​

Turn viral tweets into memecoins:

  1. Find a funny or viral tweet
  2. Click the Quik.Meme extension icon
  3. Click "Deploy from Twitter"
  4. The extension analyzes the tweet and suggests:
    • Token name
    • Token symbol
    • Uses tweet image as token logo
    • Adds tweet URL to token's Twitter field
  5. Review and deploy

How It Works:

  • Uses AI to extract relevant info from tweets
  • Automatically grabs images from the tweet
  • Links back to the original tweet
  • Perfect for meme-driven launches

Swap Tokens​

Access the full swapping interface from anywhere:

  1. Click the extension icon
  2. Go to "Swap" tab
  3. Select tokens to swap
  4. Enter amount
  5. Click "Swap" and confirm in your wallet

My Tokens​

Track your portfolio:

  1. Click extension icon
  2. Go to "My Tokens" tab
  3. See all tokens you've:
    • Created

  • Your balance
  • 24h price changes
  • Quick links to token pages

Tips & Tricks​

Token Detection​

The extension only detects tokens when you're on supported sites (currently DexScreener). Look for the badge notification on the extension icon.

Wallet Connection​

The extension uses your existing MetaMask connection. Make sure:

  • MetaMask is installed
  • You're connected to BSC network
  • You have BNB for gas fees

Permissions​

The extension needs permissions to:

  • Read page content (to detect tokens)
  • Access DexScreener and Twitter
  • Connect to quik.meme API
  • Communicate with MetaMask

All permissions are used solely for functionality - we never access your private keys or personal data.

Troubleshooting​

Extension Not Detecting Tokens​

If the badge doesn't appear on DexScreener:

  1. Refresh the DexScreener page
  2. Check if the extension is enabled
  3. Make sure you're viewing a BSC token page
  4. Try reloading the extension from chrome://extensions/

Deploy from Twitter Not Working​

If Twitter deploy fails:

  1. Make sure you're on an actual tweet page
  2. Check that the tweet has an image
  3. Verify your wallet is connected
  4. Check console for error messages

Swap Transactions Failing​

If swaps aren't working:

  1. Check your BNB balance for gas
  2. Verify you're on BSC network
  3. Try increasing slippage tolerance
  4. Make sure token amount is valid

Privacy & Security​

The extension:

  • Never stores your private keys
  • Only reads public blockchain data
  • Communicates only with quik.meme API
  • Uses standard Web3 security practices
  • All transactions require your wallet approval

The extension updates automatically when new versions are released. Check the Chrome extensions page to see your current version.
