Trading Questions​

How do I buy tokens?​

  1. Connect your wallet to the platform

Why did my swap fail?​

What is slippage?​

Slippage is the price difference between when you click "Swap" and when the transaction actually executes.

  • 3-5%: Use for very low liquidity

Higher slippage means you accept a worse price in exchange for your transaction being more likely to succeed.

What is price impact?​

Price impact is how much your trade moves the price:

  • Large trades in small pools = high impact
  • Small trades in large pools = low impact
  • Under 1% is ideal
  • Over 5% means you're moving the market significantly

Can I lose money trading?​

Yes. Memecoin trading is risky:

Does the extension need permissions?​

Yes, it needs:

  • Access to DexScreener and Twitter
  • Read page content (to detect tokens)
  • Connect to quik.meme API
  • Communicate with your Web3 wallet

Is the extension safe?​

The extension:

  • Never accesses your private keys
  • Only reads public blockchain data
  • All transactions go through your wallet (you approve each one)
  • Open source - you can review the code

Why doesn't token detection work?​

Make sure:

  • Extension is enabled and updated
  • You're on a supported site (DexScreener)
  • Viewing a BSC token (not Ethereum or other chains)
  • Extension has necessary permissions
  • Page has fully loaded

Creator Questions​

How do creator fees work?​

As a token creator:

  • You earn 25% of Uniswap V3 pool fees (1% per trade)
  • Fees distributed automatically to your wallet
  • No manual claiming needed
  • Both buys and sells generate fees
  • Fees continue for the token's entire lifetime
  • This is NOT a transfer tax - it's LP fees from the pool

When should I collect my fees?​

Fees are collected automatically:

Can I transfer token ownership?​

No. The creator address is set permanently when the token deploys. This ensures:

What if my token doesn't get traction?​

  • You still own the token
  • Can still collect fees (if any trades happen)

Troubleshooting​

My transaction is stuck​
